ELECTRIC MANTRA - Ian Klound
ELECTIC MANTRA. Is a long composition in wich the sound of alto saxophone is in foreground upon a continuum sound like a mantra played with the synthesizer Korg M1. In certain points emerges also the sound of the clariphone, an instrument inbetween a saxophne and a clarinet. HHIK. These blocks letters are the initials of the authors: The electronic sounds are by Hubert Howe. On its there is the improvisation of the soprano sax played by Ian Klound. GRANURITMIA. Is an additive synthesis composition that meand thaat was made intirely on computer using the Max msp program, version 6. BRAIN MACHINE. Is a composition based on the M1 Korg synthesizer sounds, plug in and additive synthesis At the end is played the Dan Moi (Jaw Harp).
LYRAPON. In this track the original sound of a a Greeck Lyra, played not conventionally, has been altereted with the Max msp program, version 6. HOWE’S SOUND. Is an omage to the work of Hubert Howe. Still in this track the electronic sounds are done by Hubert Howe. In certain passages the sound of alto sax was altered with plug in and effects of Cubase. All instruments Alto Sax, Soprano Sax, Clariphone, Synthesizer Korg M1, Dan Moi, Additive Synthesis with Max msp program version 6 are played by Ian Klound. Electronic music in track 2 and 6 by Hubert Howe. All compositions by Ian Klound except the electronic sounds in tracks 2 and 6. Mastering: Italo De Angelis.
